Meet Our Founder: Emily Maroutian

Carrying Legacy, Creating Connection

Armenian Pride Collection™ was born from the vision of Emily Maroutian, an award-winning author, poet, and philosopher whose life’s work is rooted in empowerment, healing, and connection.

For more than 20 years, Emily has written and published books that blend philosophy and psychology into accessible tools for healing, self-discovery, and growth. Her work has been used in counseling offices, therapy workshops, and classrooms across the world.

She has published over 15 books, donated countless copies to books-to-prisoners programs, and received multiple national awards for her contributions to self-help and literature. Her poems on the Armenian Genocide have been read at memorials worldwide and published in several historical books.

Emily holds a degree in Comparative Religion, a certificate in Interreligious and Intercultural Relations, and is a member of the American Academy of Religion’s Honorary Society. She is currently pursuing her Master’s in Negotiation, Conflict Resolution, and Peacebuilding with a focus on International and Interreligious Conflict.

Through all her work, Emily carries the threads of her Armenian heritage, and Armenian Pride Collection™ is a continuation of that legacy. It’s a space where culture, style, and identity converge.

This brand is not just about fashion. It’s about visibility and connection. It’s about creating something that speaks to Armenians everywhere, across every walk of life. It’s about weaving heritage into everyday life, celebrating our differences while honoring the same flame we all carry.

For Emily, Armenian Pride Collection™ is more than a merch shop. She intends to develop a branch of APC dedicated to empowering Armenians everywhere with transformational courses, cultural initiatives, and healing programs designed specifically for our community. The profits from APC will go toward building and sustaining this project, ensuring that every purchase contributes to a larger purpose.

This future vision is simple yet powerful: to help cultivate a healthier, more resilient, and deeply connected Armenian community for generations to come.
